First Grade came up against a red hot Drummoyne. The first half saw Old Iggies playing with 13 men at one stage with winger James Carrigan and Toby Anderson gaining themselves 10 minutes rest from the ref. Everything for Drummoyne stuck, while Old Iggies showed glimpses of what could be including some great tight rugby that earned Michael Stalley a 5 pointer. In the end, Drummoyne were too big, fast and fit and stuck it to us to the tune of 7 - 69

This game goes down as the one that got away. The Burkies got away to a great start and were up 15-0. Some great running from Noonaxe and a try in the supporters corner to the club captain JT made it look like Guy and Ray's boys would bring home the bacon. Unfortunately this was not to be and Drummoyne came home with a wet sail to take out the game 15 - 24.

More to come from Guy. He was slack last week I am sure he will provide something this week.  He will bring a case to training for his past sins - or he will bring two if he doesn't contribute this week as well.
